There are movies that make me shed a tear during several scenes (and lots of them. The last one was Deathly Hallows 2 from the Harry Potter series). But there are only eight that really made me cry (red nose, swollen eyes and all):

The LOTR trilogy (of course!)
Australia by Baz Luhrman
Braveheart

and three Indian movies I discovered recently:

Fanaa (fantastic, thrilling and the story of two star-crossed lovers to boot)
Taare Zameen Par (which I highly recommend, too)
Rang De Basanti (brilliant, but nothing for the faint-hearted)
